Lived in Douglas GA 1975-1983. Parents divorced, lived with mother in Jacksonville FL 1984-1992. One year of South Georgia College in Douglas GA, then started University Of Georgia- 1993-1997. Emory Law School 1997-2000. Assistant D.A. Coffee County 2001-2003. Law clerk for David Boone of Atlanta GA 2003-2004. Quit law and started buying and selling fixer-upper houses 2004-present.

I wore preppy tommy hilfiger type stuff until around 1994. I discovered the Gap and Jcrew- the touch of flannel and earthiness rubbed off of the grunge movement, once in college. The move from college to law school in Atlanta pushed me further into the banana republic, more black garments, more urban. My mother was diagnosed with cancer around late 1998. In a few months she had died, and over the course of that time I had dropped out of school, tried several anti-depressants, settled on Effexor, resumed school, and this is when I started a policy of wearing only hawaian shirts.

The hawaian phase only lasted a few months. I eventually came back to banana republic. When I worked for the D.A.'s office I had to mix in some Brooks Brothers. When I quit the D.A.'s office, my girlfriend broke up with me shortly after, and I had another mental breakdown. In my rebuilding phase after that, I pushed into an even more urban phase, I dabbled in flared cuffs and big collars, boutique brands, Diesel, bowling shoes.

Now I don't have a real job, I've got a girlfriend, so I just wear those urban outfitter type tshirts, but occasionally I do wear my green austrian hat with the feather in the side, in some vaguely defined spirit of defiance.
